The adult moths of this species have pale brown forewings each with a faint pattern of dark spots. The hindwings are a plain paler brown. The undersides have pale bands under each wing The moths have a wing span of about 2.5 cms.

Specimens of the adult moth of this species have been taken in

  • Queensland,
  • New South Wales, and
  • Victoria.
