The adult moth has pale grey forewings, each with a vague dark line down the centre which has some little black markings in the middle. The forewings each have a cusped margin. The hindwings are plain pale grey. The wingspan is about 4 cms.

Sometimes the moth also has a black thorax and black marks near the tornus.

The species has been found in Australia in
