Morphotica mirifica

These adult moths have yellow forewings, each with a broad brown band at the base and along the margin, as well as a narrow zigzag silver line across the middle. The hindwings are brown. The head is yellow, and the thorax is brown. The moths have a wingspan of about 1.5 cms.

The species has been found in

  • Western Australia,
  • Northern Territory and
  • Queensland.
