The adult moths of this species have white forewings each having tufts of scales and a dark brown line along the middle. The hindwings are pale brown. The antennae are nearly as long as the forewings. The wingspan is about 2.5 cms.

The species has been found in :

  • Queensland,
  • New South Wales, and
  • Victoria.
