The adult moth of this species has buff wings, each with sinuous pale brown transverse bands, a variable number of black spots near the middle, and an arc of black dots along the margin. The moth has a wingspan of about 2 cms.

The species has been found in:

  • Fiji

    as well as in Australia in

  • Western Australia,
  • Northern Territory,
  • Queensland, and
  • northern New South Wales.

    The genus of this species is controversial.
