Hemithea obscurata

The adult moths of this species have greenish-grey wings, each crossed by two dark zig-zag lines. The forewing wing-tips are recurved. The hindwings are kite-shaped with scalloped margins. The wingspan is about 4 cms.

Specimens of this species have been found in

  • Borneo,

    and also in Australia in

  • Queensland.
