Gardens
On our 4-acre property there are many gardens growing butterfly host plants and nectar plants. These gardens provide a lovely setting. You may walk among these native and subtropical plants or you may like to relax on some of the seating we have provided.
We are endeavouring to improve these areas by labelling the plants with information about them and the butterflies that use them and also guiding you through the different zones. Please return to this site for further updates.
In the meantime you will find plants, shrubs and trees, which may be able to grow in your area and attract local butterflies. Ask one of our staff who will be able to assist you with the names of the plants for your area.
Our rainforest garden is continually developing, which when finished will showcase a butterfly garden to attract and support varieties of local species of butterflies. Currently we are underplanting below our canopy level. Our website will be updated as this nears completion.
